[*] => Little Museum of Dublin - Dublin’s Best Museum Experience

Voted “Dublin's best museum experience” by the Irish Times, the Little Museum of Dublin tells the remarkable history of the city in the 20th Century and is rightfully considered one of the top things to do in Dublin.
The museum is housed across three levels in a stunning Georgian Townhouse on Dublin’s St. Stephen’s Green, and is made up of historical objects gathered after a call out to Dubliners to share some of their old belongings.
Described as ‘quirky and eccentric’ by Conde Nest Travel, the museum’s charming rooms are packed with items of historical significance from 20th century Dublin. From the lectern used by JFK on his 1963 visit to Ireland, to historic Dublin milk bottles, Aer Lingus ads, bus scrolls, and even an original copy of the letter given to the Irish envoys to the treaty negotiations of 1921.
DODUBLIN DAYS OUT CARD & THE LITTLE MUSEUM OF DUBLIN
Visit The Little Museum, along with five other great Dublin attractions with the DoDublin Days Out Card!
The U2 Museum

On the second floor, U2 fans will uncover a treasure trove of memorabilia from the band, and the Irish Times editors room in the museum is a throwback to an old office.
Choose from the most popular guided tours at the museum, or there are also daily walking tours available of St. Stephen’s Green - The Green Mile, and weekly tours covering Freedom of Dublin, and Women’s History of Ireland.
Where to find the Little Museum of Dublin
The Little Museum of Dublin is located at 15 St. Stephen's Green, Dublin.
Hop-On Hop-Off Tour
The DoDublin Hop-On Hop-Off Tour stops on St. Stephen's Green, just across the road from the Little Museum. City Sightseeing also stops close by on St. Stephen's Green.
Walk
From Trinity College Dublin, the Museum is 700m walking distance, about a 9 minute walk up the pedestrianised Grafton Street and along St. Stephen's Green. If you have a time to spare, why don't you walk through the beautiful Stephen's Green or explore the fabulous MoLI and learn all about James Joyce's Ulysses...well worth a visit if you're in the area!
Cycle
Cycling is a great way to travel to see around The Little Museum and sights around St. Stephen's Green. There is a Dublin Bike station at the southern gate of Trinity on Lenister Street and another Dublin Bike station on Stephen's green. It would be less than two minute cycle directly but enjoy the cycle around the historic area.
Dublin Bus
Many Dublin Bus routes pass close to the museum. Plan your journey with Dublin Bus.
Luas
There are two Luas stops very close to the door of the museum. One Luas stop is on St. Stephen's Green or alternatively, explore some of the book shops while making your way to the Luas stop on Dawson's Street. Plan your journey with Luas.

DODUBLIN DAYS OUT CARD & CHRIST CHURCH CATHEDRAL
Visit Christ Church Cathedral, along with five other great Dublin attractions with the DoDublin Days Out Ticket!

Christ Church Cathedral Crypt
The medieval crypt is a fascinating part of this historic building where visitors can discover fascinating artefacts and memorials. The famous mummified Cat & Rat is an unusual exhibit, and was even mentioned in James Joyce’s Finnegan’s Wake.

Treasures of Christ Church Exhibition
The restored 12th century crypt, one of the largest in Ireland or the UK, is home to the fantastic Treasures of Christ Church exhibition, which also showcases an audio visual of the cathedral's history by Louis Marcus. The exhibition features manuscripts and artefacts that give the visitor insight into the almost one thousand years of worship in the cathedral and nearby churches.
Among the rare church silver is the stunning royal plate given by King William III in 1697 as a thanksgiving for his victory at the battle of the Boyne. Also on display are the conserved tabernacle and the candlesticks used in 1689 under James II when the Latin rites were restored for a three-month period.
The Treasury also plays host to a rare 14th Century copy of the Magna Carta Hiberniae which is the centrepiece of an exhibition.
